A reliable post system is essential in student accommodation, where residents depend on secure and accessible mail delivery. At this site, the existing banks of letterboxes had significantly deteriorated, with multiple units broken, unsecured or unable to lock properly, creating both a functional issue and a security concern for residents.
Following a comprehensive site survey, detailed measurements and data were gathered to ensure the new units would be accurately manufactured to fit the existing recesses and maintain consistency. A bespoke numbering system was also created to reflect the original layout and ease the transition.
The original letterboxes were carefully dismantled and removed, with all components disposed of responsibly. We then installed newly manufactured units, purpose-built for this project and designed to suit high-traffic residential environments.
Once installation was complete, a final inspection was carried out to confirm quality, alignment and secure functionality. A full handover was provided to the client, with all new key sets clearly labelled to assist with distribution.
This upgrade has restored both the security and visual standard of the communal areas across the site. More than just a replacement, this project reflects our commitment to delivering practical, secure and considered improvements in residential environments.
